On the tone-setting CONFRONT RECORDINGS label, curated by Mark Wastell, ‘LIVE OFFERINGS 2019′ features 3 performances from this tour, finding them in concert at Koffie & Ambacht in Rotterdam (NL), artgallery De Werkplaats in Amersfoort and at Guy Peters’ living room (Geraardbergen, Belgium). Tonight on PORTAMENTO we highlight a fantastic and epic work of Rutger Zuydervelt. ‘Stay Tuned’ is a composition he created out of contributions from more than 150 musicians. A very impressive work, Stay Tuned’ is presented as a multiple-speaker installation, as a live performance piece, here you can hear the stereo version. And he’s creating another one, this time with drummers and percussionists (featuring some of our favorite ones like Kris Vanderstraeten, Tom Malmendier and Andrew Lisle). ‘With Drums’ you can pre-order here.
