New Invention is the third studio album by the British saxophone and drums pair of Colin Webster and Andrew Lisle. Since their debut in 2015, Webster and Lisle have toured and recorded extensively both as a duo and as core members of notable British and European improvising groups. Both musicians are also closely affiliated with the label.

RUBICON QUARTET – CROSSCURRENTS

This new quartet unites veteran Belgian free improvisers Patrick De Groote (trumpet) and Cel Overberghe (sax) with label affiliates Martina Verhoeven (piano) and Dirk Serries (acoustic guitar).  The result is exceptional, creating almost a new form of improvisation, one that balances between the extravagance of chamber music and post bop of jazz.
